Christine Heitz is Chief Executive Officer of Colorado Thrives, supporting economic mobility for all Coloradans and spearheading the Upskill 2030 initiative. Christine was born and raised in Colorado and brings a personal commitment to building an inclusive future for the state.
Christine’s career spans the private, public, and nonprofit sectors. She spent a decade at McKinsey & Company supporting strategy & growth for educational institutions, academic medical centers, service providers, and investors. Christine was previously an investor at the Charter School Growth Fund and led strategy for KIPP Memphis, a school network in Tennessee.
Outside of Colorado Thrives, Christine serves on the board of CollegeInvest, Colorado’s 529 college savings plan. She is also a co-founder of the Denver Chapter of Chamber of Mothers, an advocacy group that champions maternal health, paid family leave, and affordable childcare.
Christine is a skiing, cycling, and Ironman enthusiast. On the weekends, you can find her chasing her three kids around the playgrounds of Denver or on hiking trails across Colorado.
